So I am now in my 5th week(YAY!) and nausea has kicked in. It started yesterday afternoon and continued through the night. I was in and out of sleep all night and even in my dreams felt nauseous. I stayed in bed until 10 a.m. because of it. Since then its been off and on all day. I haven't actually thrown up yet but I know eventually it will happen. It feels more like a bad hangover.
Two more days until Christmas Eve. I was telling DH that I hope I don't get sick at his families house when we go over for Christmas. That would be really really bad:0( I can't wait until our first u/s on January 6th. I want it to go faster and for everything to be okay. I pray everyday for this baby to stay and be healthy. I talk to my LO everyday and the love I feel is unreal. I want everything to be ok.

I'm Pregnant! Praying for a sticky healthy baby!

AF was due on 12/9 only 10dpo and I had mild cramping so I thought for sure I was getting it. Around 6 p.m. I went to CVS and decided to purchase a HPT for the heck of it. Once I got home I tested and it was clearly positive!I couldn't believe it and became overwhelmed with emotions. See the last time I got a postive, although it was really faint, the next day I got a negative and ended up with AF. That was considered a chemical pregnancy. So there I stood praying and hoping that this was for real this time. DH came home from work and I told him I had a surprise. I walked him into the bathroom and showed him the stick. He didn't know what he was looking for...lol I pointed at the box where it showed what a positive was and he smiled and said wow. We are so happy but praying for a healthy sticky baby.
I took another test at 14dpo and it was still positive so I called my doctor to make an appt. They scheduled me for a blood test on Monday (12/14) and I still haven't heard back from them but it can take up to 48 hrs. I get nervous at times but am trying to stay positive and continue to be thankful for the wonderful blessing.

Vent:o(
So my DH and I have been ttc for 4 cycles now. Even though it is a short time, I still feel anxious and a bit worried that I will have problems. I was on bcp's for almost ten years and never missed a pill. I wish someone would've have warned me about bcp. Since getting off I've gained weight, had constant headaches (first two cycles off) and honestly have no clue if I am ovulating. This is my first cycle charting and I am on CD13. Took 2 OPK so far in the last three days and both were negative. I really want this and I know I must be patient but there are times througout the month that it gets me down. I truly leave it in gods hands. I will continue going to the gym and taking steps to be healthier. I just wish I was in my twenties and not in my early thirties, then I wouldn't feel like time is flying. Wishing for an O and a big fat "P' this cycle.

Quick & Easy Dinner

So today I spend all day with my friend's toddler at her house. So by the time I got home I was starving! Running around after him all day gave me no time to really enjoy a meal. So when I got home I wanted to make something quick but yummy. I am over fast food and on a tight budget. I was glad to find Perdue Breaded Breast Chucks, General Tso's Glazed. Omg, this was so delicious and easy to make with a bed of white rice. You simply preheat the oven 425 degrees and leave the chicken cooking for only 14-15 minutes. The kit includes the General Tso's sauce packet. Just place in microwave for 1.5 minutes in a safe bowl. Once the chicken in the oven is completed pour sauce over chicken. Tonight I made white rice on the side with some steamed broccoli to go with the chicken. Yummy! My husband loved it too.

I love my daily celeb gossip. Whenever I want to keep up with my gossip I go to the following websites:
Perezhilton.com
Mediatakeout.com
Bossip.com
TMZ.com
Popsugar.com
Now that money is tighter and I am not able to spend over $15 on magz weekly. I can still get my updates through these websites.
